Hello members,
Team App is the main communication platform used by MBRC to connect with Athletes and Parents for daily/weekly program information, updates and changes. Over the next weeks and months, it will be imperative that we make sure this main communication tool is reaching each athlete individually, as well as parents.
Our main aim is to have each athlete set up with their own individual team app account via the app on their screen and that it is working 100% effectively.
To make sure each athlete is receiving the relevant messages from Mt Buller Race Club then the following needs please refer to the following.
EXISTING MEMBERS (WITH YOUR OWN INDIVIDUAL TEAM APP ACCOUNT)
1. Make sure you have the downloaded Team app on your screen or go to Apple or Google Play app store and download it.
2. Click on the app and see if it loads automatically into Mt Buller Race Club, or search for your team if it does not. If you are logged out, then log in or follow directions to log back in regarding email and password. If you cannot log in, then go to directions below as if you are a new member and start from scratch.
3. If you are able to log in, then please update your personal information by clicking on settings in Team app then put in current/preferred email and mobile number then save.
4. Go into settings on your phone, press Notifications, scroll down to Team app icon and press 'Allow Notifications" so you are alerted immediately of a new notification.
NEW MEMBERS OR MEMBERS SETTING UP YOUR OWN INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT
1. Each individual athlete Downloads Team App from the Apple or Google Play app store.
2. Click on the app and click on Log in or Sign up at the bottom of the screen.
3. Put in your email address and then a security code/ temporary password will be sent to your email so put it in, submit it and then fill in your personal details. (Put in year of birth 2006 or less)
4. Welcome to Team App - Click on Find your team/club and enter "Mt Buller Race Club” in the search bar.
5. Open the Mt Buller Race Club icon. At the top of screen, click on "Request to join this team’s app" and click on MBRC Member
6. Fill in your full access request message "New Member" click on "I agree to provide membership details" and enter your full name.
7. Choose "MBRC Member"
We will then put you in the correct group/s in the future.
EMAIL ACCOUNTS
Most schools require students to have an email account so please use that one, or if they don't have an email then please assist them to set one up.
If for whatever reason the athlete will not have an email account, then they can download the app, open the app on their phone, use your email address and Team App password to log into your account. They will then get notifications that way.
Please assist us by making sure everyone in your family reads this email and is set up for Team App by following the steps above. In the next week we will send out a test message for you to see if this is working correctly. Thanks for your support, and any questions should be directed to Richard
