Through the journey of his children alone Peter has much wisdom and experience to share with MBRC families.
Peter is perfectly suited to MBRC as his true passion is developing junior athletes in preparation for the world stage. He has coached the FIS World Championships with a young Chumpy Pullin in the team, acted as Head Snowboard Coach at both Thredbo Ski School and Perisher WSC and operated Fastride Snowboard Camps since 2006.
Peter has coached many of Australia's current leading snowboard athletes; Scotty James, Karel Van Goor, Jarryd Hughes, Matty Thomas, Adam Dickson, Josh Miller (all World Cup athletes) along with National Team members Georgia Baff, Ellise Turner, Josie Baff, Jai Kearney and Valentino Guseli.
MBRC are stoked at the prospect of Peter joining our team and are very excited at the training initiatives he has planned for our athletes in the 2020 season. Many MBRC athletes are already familiar with Peter and his training style due to their participation on his training camps in the USA and Europe. Peter is well known for his belief that free riding is a core element of athlete development and this became the foundation for his now famous 'Mammoth Free Ride Camp'.
Peter was a member of the team at MBRC in 2015 and we anticipate his coaching network will add to the depth and professionalism of the MBRC Snowboard Program. MBRC continue to strive to provide the No 1 training environment for Snowboard racing in Australia.
In addition to the appointment of Peter MBRC are in consultation with Buller Ski Lifts and Mount Buller Resort Management to once again improve the training facilities available for our snowboard athletes.
Please welcome Peter Baff to the MBRC family. We look forward to an exciting 2020 season.
