MBRC coaches will be attending the event to support any MBRC athletes that will be participating.
We are currently investigaging offering team accommodation at Mt Hotham for the SBX Festival. The accomodation offered will be for athletes only staying in a 2 bedroom apartment with the coaches - the accommodation will most likely at Arlberg Hotham and will be self catering with the assistance of the coaches. Once this accommodation is booked there are unfortunately no refunds and you will need to pay even if your circumstances change.
The SSA Futures: Mt Hotham SBX Festival is a Talent Identification (TID) initiative by SSA with support from the OWIA and NSWIS Athletes and Coaches. The program is designed to lead into the FIS ANC SBX Races which follow immediately after the program concludes.

- Monday 5th August SBX Continental Cup - Training
- Tuesday 6th August SBX Continental Cup - ANC Race 1
- Wednesday 7th August SBX Continental Cup - ANC Race 2
- Thursday 8th August SBX Continental Cup - Weather Day & Return to Mt Buller
Note: This event coincides with the Victorian Interschools Cross County which will be held on Sunday 4th August.
These races are designed for the following:
Futures
The camp is designed for young riders to work with older riders who have followed the SSA Pathway.
ANC and Junior Races
The ANC races are FIS races designed for riders over the age of 15. All riders competing in these races must have a FIS License.
The Grom races allows younger riders to race on the same course as some of the best racers in the world.

Shared Coaches Costs (As a guide in 2018 this was $300 per athlete and is based on numbers attending. This includes coaches accommodation, meals, extra BSL coaching hours & travel)
