2025 MBRC TRIALS
MBRC will be accepting athletes from YOB 2017.
The majority of our intake is at U10, U12, Grom 00/01 (ages 11 and below). We will only be taking U14, U16, Grom 2 and FIS under special application.
You are required to SIGN UP ONLINE to register and provide additional information to - info@mtbullerraceclub.com.au
Prior to moving forward to the on snow skills assessment, documentation must be provided to show:
- Attendance in another seasonal program
- They can ski / ride the whole mountain with stong linked turns in boarded, or full parallel turns in skiing.
- Interschools / Fis point results
- Committment to Mt Buller and Ski Racing
If you are successful to come to the on snow component please come in your normal ski/board gear and wear a helmet. Ideally come with your GS skis or freeride board, or what you feel most comfortable on.
ASSESSMENT SATURDAY 24TH AUGUST 10AM - 12PM
Assessment tasks: Alpine
1. Traverse to each side with a hop over a blue line in the middle of the traverse.
2. Ten short turns
3. One Hockey stop to your preferred side.
Assessment tasks: Snowboard
1. Ten carve turns and then ten short turns
2. Ride in an aligned balanced position
3. Come to a controlled stop on your toe edge and your heel edge
