The Mt Buller Race Club employs the services of the following internationally experienced staff:
Stoffl holds the highest Austrian qualification levels in ski instructing, race coaching and ski guiding. Stoffl holds a masters degree in sport science and sports management (University of Innsbruck, Austria) and is heading up the club as a program director since 2010. Stoffl started coaching for MBRC in 2003 and has since coached the Australian National Alpine Ski Team and since 2012 Stoffl is the SSA National Children's Head Coach. His Austrian based company Maierskiracing provides the Northern Hemisphere programs for the Australian Ski Federation, as well as private ski race training programs.
Sue is managing the administration side of the club since 2009. Sue is the main point of contact for our membership (all year round) and is managing the organisation in regards to membership services and communication, events, administration, etc.
Richard is an APSI ski instructor Level 4 (Examiner & Trainer) and holds the CSCF Level 2 coaching qualification. He knows the mountain and it´s people, working at Mt Buller since 1992 and in ski school since 1995. Since 2015 he is heading up the Alpine department of the club. In the Northern Hemisphere Richard is organizing race training camps at Winterpark, USA.
Mane holds the highest Austrian snowboard instructing qualification, is a ski guide, Level 2 ski instructor and a snowboard coach and examiner. Mane has over 20 years of experience in race coaching, from Children's up to Worldcup level athletes, from PGS, GS to SBX. Mane heads up our Snowboard department since 2010.
As the staff is a small team, many functions and roles are shared. As a general guideline the responsibilities for the on-snow activities will be handled by the Program Director and the Head Coaches, and off-snow activities by the Program Administrator.
